As expected AVG’s self proclaimed antivirus app has been pulled from Windows Phone marketplace. Brandon Watson from Microsoft tweeted the following information,

BrandonWatson : @JustinAngel @WithinRafael  AVG app pulled from marketplace. Doing some investigations, but want functionality certainty. Thanks for headsup.

That’s a good sign for us, because developers will be more concerned in the future about their app and privacy stuff related to it. Good work by Justin Angel and Rafael Rivera.
