Google Gemini Deep Research

Google has caught up with ChatGPT and Perplexity as with its latest Gemini 2.5 Pro Experimental. The tech giant introducing its new AI feature claims that the ‘Deep Research’ doesn’t just assist but analyses, synthesizes, and delivers insights like never before.

Now available through Gemini 2.5 Pro Experimental, the Deep Research feature would help all those looking for an extra pair of hands seeking in-depth knowledge on a subject. Designed to act as a high-level AI research assistant, it helps users generate detailed, insightful reports on virtually any topic.

What makes this feature stand out is the engine behind it i.e. the Gemini 2.5 Pro, Google’s most advanced AI model to date. Ranked #1 in industry reasoning benchmarks and the Chatbot Arena, the model delivers results users have rated twice as effective as leading alternatives.

A standout addition is the ‘Audio Overviews’ feature, which turns text reports into podcast-style summaries making it perfect for on-the-go listeners.

The feature is currently available to Gemini Advanced subscribers and Google Workspace users across web, Android, and iOS platforms. To access it, users simply select Gemini 2.5 Pro (Experimental) and tap on ‘Deep Research’ in the prompt bar.
