More than a year ago, Twitter launched Moments — a new feature which allowed users to keep track of some of the most important things that are happening on Twitter. Today, the company announced that it’s replacing Moments with a new tab called “Explore.”
Twitter isn’t entirely killing Moments, though. The company is actually integrating Moments into the new Explore tab. In fact, the new Explore tab gives you easy access to the latest trends, Moments, as well as search. In a blog post today, the company stated:
Until today, you had to go to a few different places to find each of these experiences. As part of our continued efforts to make it easier to see what’s happening, we’re bringing all these together. Very soon, you’ll be able to find trends, Moments, search, and the best of live video, all within the new Explore tab.  Over the past year, we’ve been exploring different ways to make it simpler for people to find and use trends, Moments, and search. During our research process, people told us that the new Explore tab helped them easily find news, what’s trending, and what’s popular right now.
Twitter has been testing the new Explore tab for a while now, but it’s rolling it out to all of its users on iOS first. The company will also likely roll it out in the coming months to those on Windows 10 (and Android). Once again, you will still be able to use Moments on the official Twitter app in Windows 10 until the new Explore tab is rolled out.
