Plaffo.com reports that Nokia’s official web store in Italy NStore.it is now opening pre-orders for the Nokia Lumia 1020.

The site are accepting deposits of € 99.90 for the handset, which will be retailing for € 699.90 ($912) and be available in 3 colours (white, black and yellow).

The handset is set for shipment in October, but Nokia warns "the contents of the package, the final price of the product or the date of actual availability may change completely beyond our control and without any notice."

The price is 100 euro more expensive than what the Nokia Lumia 920 debuted at, but still seems to be touching on unaffordable.
