Well, that was fast!  Nokia’s App Folder app is now available for download, and offers the ability to add apps to a tile on your start screen.

The process is simple but not particularly elegant – consisting mainly of selecting apps from the long list of installed items.  The app does however give access to shortcuts to settings also, which is a welcome addition.

imageThe app will not just work or install on handsets with Lumia Black, but also works on my Nokia Lumia 920 with the beta GDR3 update, which means many more people can have access to the app right now.

Find the app in the Windows Phone Store here.
