Microsoft released Windows 10 Anniversary Update to the public last week. The company has started working on the next major update for Windows 10 (aka Redstone 2) recently, and it has been testing Redstone 2 builds internally for a little while as well. Now, it seems like Microsoft could be releasing the first Redstone 2 build to Windows Insiders this week. According to Core Insider Program, the company could be releasing build 14901 for Windows Insiders pretty soon.
Needless to say, the first Redstone 2 build won’t include any major new features as Microsoft started working on Redstone 2 very recently. We will probably start seeing notable changes or additions starting next month, which isn’t surprising at all. In case you are wondering, Microsoft will be releasing the Redstone 2 update for Windows 10 users next year, and it should be available as a free upgrade.
As per usual, we will let you know when the update is available for Windows Insiders. In the meantime, let us know if you’re looking forward to the first Redstone 2 build of Windows 10 in the comment section below.
