Xbox All Access could be returning soon

Xbox All Access, the subscription plan from Microsoft that allowed gamers to ‘rent’ a brand new Xbox One console, an Xbox Game Pass subscription, and Xbox Live Gold for a set monthly price, may be making its return soon.

The way Xbox All Access worked is that gamers in the US could pay a monthly fee for 24 months for the aforementioned services and, at the end of it all, keep the console.

The subscription service was limited to the US and only had two tiers of membership, with the price varying based on whether you wanted to rent an Xbox One X or Xbox One S.

The program was shut down on December 31st, 2018, but Xbox did promise that it would return in 2019 in a bigger and better form.

Now, infamous leaker h0x0d on Twitter has Tweeted out a statement that may confirm that Xbox All Access is set to return before the end of 2019.

Interestingly, however, Twitter user nicolaspopy has replied to h0x0d’s tweet saying “in Europe too?” with a screenshot of an application process for a European trademark of Xbox All Access.

This means that, while only people in the United States of America could participate in Xbox All Access last year, people in Europe may be able to get their hands on a subscription this time round.

It’s also likely that Xbox All Access will now feature a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which includes Xbox Live Gold, instead of just the basic tier of Xbox Game Pass.

There’s also a chance that Project xCloud may be somehow included in the new membership. For now, though, we’ll just have to wait and see.
