Windows 10 Sensors Support

Sensors are changing the way we live and how we experience the world around us as they become ubiquitous across all form factors: large screen, laptops, tablets, phones, wearables and IoT devices. At WinHEC conference, Microsoft provided an overview of the unified development story for sensors and the key investments in Windows 10.

Windows 10 universal driver stack for Sensors scales across

  • Hardware topologies (onSoC vs offSoC)
  • Form factors (desktop, mobile, wearables, etc.)
