Microsoft may have intended Windows phone 7 to be play first, but that does not mean the phones are not going to end up being work horses for many people.

Above is Smartsoft Mobile’s Purchase Order Approval and Inventory Inquiry app, which integrate with their SAP solution using Smartsoft Mobile’s Services Bus and SAP Connectors.

Below is Resco’s Customer Relationship Management app, which works with the Dynamics CRM system, and allows users to take their existing solution mobile.

As more of these business apps, which integrate with the server software a company already use come to market Windows phone 7 increasingly become a viable drop in enterprise solution, which should especially suite companies like Dell who are pushing it as a Blackberry alternative.
