Tweeten for Windows has picked up an update to version 1.8. This update adds a very useful feature – the ability to minimize the app to the tray, which should help keep your task bar less cluttered .

The update also brings a number of bug fixes.

See the full changelog below:

  • On Windows, we have added the ability to minimize Tweeten to the tray. Just right click anywhere in the app, and click on minimize to tray!
  • We have fixed an issue which caused the app to crash while trying to drag and drop a file on both Windows and Mac.
  • Additionally, we have fixed the Report Tweet and Add to list modals which didn’t show the text properly before.
