It seems many developers for our upcoming mobile OS have began working on random things with the arrival of their Windows Phone, and this one developer even does a how to make a transparent splash screen guide. The developer posted on his blog about a way to use the latest Windows Phone developer kit to build and replace the standard boot screen with something a bit more you.

 

He began with taking an image with a solid background, and then removing the color code of the back. Then he did some magic tricks with the tools and here is what came out:

Not the best looking thing, but think about it like this. A person like me who has a big blue screen room in their house, I could take a picture with that, put a nice background and have myself a new splash screen. Very nice.
