Update: The update will hit Xbox One and other platforms on July 25. Here are the patch notes.
Titanfall 2 is finally getting an update which will even make me want to go back and play it. Apart from announcing that the game had roughly 1 million players each month, Respawn Entertainment said that the title was getting a 4-player co-op horde mode. It’s basically Gears of War 4’s horde mode with humans and robots instead of grotesque monsters. The objective is to defend your Harvester against 5 waves of increasingly difficult enemies. Through that you earn cash for defeating enemies that you can spend in between waves to purchase tools like Batteries, Arc Traps, Sentries, and more.
The new mode will have other features like varying difficult levels and even a tutorial so you can get familiar with the mechanics. The update will also add new maps and purchasable content. If you haven’t played Titanfall 2 in a while like me, this is the time to go back! This update looks absolutely fantastic.
