Microsoft’s Surface is all about creativity, productivity, and creative productivity. To that end, Adobe is updating its Photoshop Creative Cloud app with support for the Surface Dial peripheral which as introduced with the Surface Studio last year. The Dial support is limited sadly, and users will get only basic support for brush manipulation including size, opacity and more. Unfortunately, Adobe isn’t rolling out a more robust implementation just yet, but will probably improve its dial support if enough demand is shown from CC users.

In addition to that update, prospective buyers who purchase new Surface like the Surface Laptop, Surface Pro and Surface Book 2 will eligible to pick up a 3-month Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan with 1 TB of cloud storage as part of the deal. This offer is available from today through January 18 in the countries Microsoft’s sells the Surface in officially with the exclusion of China and India.
