Report: Microsoft Acquires N-trig, The Company Behind Surface Pen

According to the latest report from calcalist, Microsoft Israel has acquired N-trig, the company behind digital pens like Surface Pen. The deal is valued around $200 million. As part of the deal, N-trig’s employees will become part of Microsoft’s Israel R&D center. Microsoft owns 6.1 percent of the company, signed a deal to integrate N-trig’ s pen in its Surface Pro 3 tablets. Acer, Dell, Toshiba, HP, Sony, Intel , Lenovo , Acer, HTC, Fujitsu of Japan and more are customers of N-trig’s pen technology.
