Microsoft today released an update for Outlook app for iOS devices. This version 2.51.0 update brings support for iPhone X. This updated Outlook app will allow users to enjoy more screen real estate during their email activity on the 5.8-inch Super Retina display.

Because of the unique “top-notch” display in iPhone X, developers will have to optimise their apps by respecting safe areas, supporting adaptive layouts, and more in order to take full advantage of it. Apps that are not optimised will be displayed in a rectangular window that will run apps similar to the older iPhone models.

Download the updated Outlook app here from App Store. If you have an iOS app, you can check out the Apple developer documentation here to learn about optimising your app for iPhone X.
