Almost a year ago, we reported that Microsoft is working on a new subscription-based service for Outlook.com that aims to improve the experience with new features and enhancements. Microsoft recently made Outlook.com Premium available to everyone in the United States as a preview, but it’s now opening it up to everyone in the United States — dropping the “preview” tag.

Outlook.com Premium costs $49.99 per year, but Microsoft is offering a deal right now which lets you get the service for only $19.95 per year. The deal lasts until the end of March, so you should get the Premium subscription as soon as you can unless you want to pay $20 extra.

Outlook.com Premium, for those unfamiliar, offers a couple of pretty neat features. One of the most notable features is the ability to get 5 personalized emails with your own email — for example, you can have an email address like [email protected]. The service also offers an ad-free experience, which means you won’t see a single advertisement on your inbox or anywhere in Outlook.com

Here’s the full list of features:

  •  5 personalized emails – If you want a new personalized email address ending like [email protected], get it free for the first year. If you already own a domain, use it with Outlook.com Premium at no extra charge. Either way, you can create personalized addresses for up to 5 people and sync everything to your existing Outlook.com mailbox.
  • Staying connected has never been so easy – Share calendars, contacts, and documents with ease. Sharing relationships are set up automatically between the people who have email addresses on your domain.
  • An ad-free inbox – Outlook.com Premium has no banner ads, so you can enjoy a distraction-free view of your email, photos, and documents.
  • Powered by the new Outlook.com – Gain access to a new, modern inbox that includes enhanced security, privacy, and reliability features. Outlook.com gives you new ways to collaborate, manage your time, and get things done.

As we stated earlier, Outlook.com Premium is only available to users in the United States only for now — which is quite disappointing as usual. Microsoft is yet to announce whether the service will be available in other countries, so don’t get your hopes up just yet.
