NVIDIA has released the GeForce Game Ready Driver 572.83 with significant updates and optimizations for gamers and creators alike. The driver is also specifically tuned for a list of recently released or to-be-released games, the most important being the Half-Life 2 RTX demo.
Major features and enhancements
Half-Life 2 RTX Demo Support: The driver provides best-in-class performance for the Half-Life 2 RTX demo, a remastered game version through NVIDIA’s RTX Remix technology. The demo includes enhanced ray tracing and graphics, enabling players to experience the classic game in a modernized form.
DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation: The driver supports DLSS 4’s multi-frame generation feature, enhancing performance and image quality in titles like The Last of Us Part II and Warhammer 40K: Darktide. This tech utilizes AI to create additional high-quality frames, resulting in smoother gameplay and improved graphics.
RTX 50 Series Fixes: The 572.83 driver addresses issues that users reported. It includes fixes for black screen incidents and overclocking problems, specifically for RTX 50 series GPUs. The fixes are meant to enhance the system’s stability and performance for users who possess these graphics cards.
