Tech giant Dell has just announced its latest XPS laptops for a showcase at CES 2024. And, just like how Microsoft is going all out in bringing artificial intelligence into almost all of its products, these laptops will also make AI features their best selling point.
The new lineup of XPS boasts stunning 13-inch, 14-inch, and 16-inch options, each prioritizing both style and performance. These laptops now share a sleek, minimalist design featuring CNC machined aluminum, Gorilla Glass 3, and tone-on-tone colors. The keyboards will also have larger keycaps and the new dedicated Copilot key.
The XPS 13, which starts at $1,299, is an extremely light laptop at just 2.6 pounds. It has three new display options: FHD+, QHD+ touch, and 3K+ OLED touch.
The $1,699 XPS 14, on the other hand, features optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs (up to RTX 4050) and is 21% lighter than the XPS 16.
The $1,899 beast out of the three, the XPS 16, is a power player for more demanding workloads. It boasts up to 80W of sustained performance with Intel Core Ultra processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs (up to RTX 4070).
All these laptops have a built-in NPU (Neutral Processing Unit) that boosts performance and efficiency for tasks like photo editing, and it’s built-in specifically with GenAI and Windows 11’s Copilot AI companion in mind.
