In the running question Will they/Won’t they drop Windows Mobile, the Will they side just got another tick.

The South Florida Business Journal reports that Motorola is to lay off 77 in employees at its Plantation facility, effective March 27. According to the Journal the company said it will no longer conduct new Windows mobile development at the facility.

This romour that Motorola is going fully Android has been going around for a while, but so far Motorola has issued several official denials to the press.
