Microsoft yesterday announced the preview of new “Azure Service Health”, a new personalized service health dashboard in the Azure portal. This new service will offer guidance and support to customers when issues in Azure services affect their applications. It will also help them in preparing for upcoming changes and maintenance scheduled for their Azure resources. It offers the following information to Azure customers:

Whenever there is an in Azure services that are impacting their resources, customers can quickly understand when the issue began, and what services and regions are impacted. They can also download a PDF summary of the issue to share with people who don’t have access to the Azure portal. Azure Service Health also allows customers filter to their business-critical subscriptions, regions, and resource types. Customers can also save the filter and pin a personalized health world map to their portal dashboard.
