Surface Hub is Microsoft’s meeting room collaboration solution. It enables improved group productivity with built in custom Office, Skype for Business and Power BI apps.

Microsoft recently posted a video to highlight how Surface Hub as a Microsoft 365 connected device enables new ways for teamwork. Surface Hub comes with some unique features such as Whiteboard coauthoring, single sign-on for Office 365 experiences and more. For example, you can turn any PC into a companion device using a Surface Hub. You can mirror your PC display to the Surface Hub screen by Miracast or wired connection. In addition, you can also interact directly with your apps with touch and ink through the Surface Hub. All the inputs and changes you do on Surface Hub are automatically saved to your connected companion device in real time. This allows users to retain all the input from their collaborative session at the end of the meeting.

To support easy management of Surface Hub in a large organizations, Microsoft has integrated it with Azure Active Directory and Intune. Watch the video above for more details.

Microsoft is yet to release Windows 10 Fall Creators Update for Surface Hub, hopefully it will come soon with more new features to embrace group collaboration.
