It wont be long now before Microsoft’s new low-end mid-ranger, the Lumia 650, is unleashed on the world, with the handset having just passed through the FCC.
The RM-1152 has earlier been confirmed to be the Lumia 650 by a certification by another authority.
Besides confirming the device is near, the certification also confirms the handset does come with LTE support, something a recent leak by evLeak suggested was not the case.
The other specs the handset is said to feature include:
- Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210
- 5-inch 720p display
- 2000 mAh battery
- 8 megapixel camera
From the picture the handset has on-screen navigation buttons, a front-facing camera and what may be a front-facing speaker.
The handset features a slim design and metallic band which gives it a higher end look that its rather slow Snapdragon 210-family processor suggests.
The smartphone is expected this quarter, which suggests Microsoft may announce it at Mobile World Congress 2016 in February.
