Joe Belfiore’s Flickr page confirms Nokia Lumia 1020 moniker

There has been some confusion about the name of Nokia’s much leaked 41 megapixel camera phone, with the Lumia 1020 and Lumia 909 both being leaked by evleaks.

Now however Joe Belfiore, Manager at Windows Phone, has settled the argument by posting the above picture on his Flickr wall, which confirms the picture was taken with a Nokia Lumia 1020.

The picture is one of two, one being 2947 x 1658 resolution (nearly 5-megapixels) and another 2352 x 1568 (3.7-megapixels), typical of the oversampling of Nokia’s Pureview camera.

There is now not much left to reveal, but we can start marvelling early at the quality of what is sure to be the camera phone to beat in 2013.
