I have not seen it myself, but we have received a number of tips indicating that HTC has just released a native Windows Phone 7 YouTube app which allows searching and viewing videos by category.

Currently Microsoft’s YouTube app is simply a link to the mobile YouTube web page, so this could be another example, after the Live Weather Tile, of HTC actually adding value through their software, after releasing a number of frivolous applications in the past with little use.
