Deluxe Moon: An elegant and advanced moon watching app!

Deluxe Moon is a visually appealing app that fits perfectly with the Windows Phone 7 theme and displays a wealth of data about the moon, its phases, zodiac signs, and more.

In the application, you can view what phase the moon is currently in, what percent it is, how many days old it is, when the moonrise and moonset (like sunrise/sunset) is, when the moon will be directly over your head, and more. All of this information is given to you with zero setup required! Open the app, and it already knows what time zone you’re in and where you are located thanks to your GPS.

You can also view your Zodiac signs, using tropical or sideral zodiac if you’re into those things, and view which astronomical constellation we are currently in. Don’t know what all of these things mean? You can click the help button inside the app and brief descriptions of all the words will pop up! And if you want more depth about the words, you can click the Wiki link provided from the app!

And if you are really into astronomy and like to know where your moon is at all times of the day, you can view the moon’s azimuth, distance, and ecliptic latitude/longitude, which all updates in real-time while you have the app open.

The simple and stylish visual design makes Deluxe Moon approachable by everyone, but remains useful for power users too. And although the interface sometimes lags for a millisecond, it is really well animated and looks great. In the video, my phone was syncing with Zune, which made the app lag slightly more than normal, meaning that you can expect the app to perform better than what you saw there.
