WindowsPhoneHacker has been digging a bit deeper into the Windows Phone 8.1 emulator, and has discovered that the new OS has fixed a rather major issue with the browser – the inability to upload from IE10.

Now IE11 Mobile supports uploading files directly from the browser, including featuring a file picker, which appears to allow arbitrary files to be uploaded.

I am sure our readers will agree this is a very strong move to enabling free use of our phones without a large number of unnecessary restrictions.
