“Beautiful Backgrounds” app is now ad-free and with new features

Beautiful Backgrounds (Universal app), your one stop photo mesmerizing app for all Bing homepage wallpapers – just picked an important update.

Version 1.2 – Change log:

• Removed ads – yes, we no longer serving ads in the detailed image view.
• Removed unused capabilities from the app
• New feature – added new sort filter “unique image”
• Fixed a crash issue

You can browse through Bing homepage images from multiple markets up to 30 days.

Lock screen: you can set any image to your lock screen manually or schedule automatic updates in a day and can configure images to display.

Images can be viewed in the detailed view (in device resolution, high quality), and displays the hotspots (where available) even with links. You can save the images locally (both orientations) and can share with friends and family.

Your live tile will also update to show the most recent images and can be customized, great to keep your start screen feeling fresh & alive!

With the background agent, you can download images, live tile and lock screen updates in the background.
You can filter images by date or by market or by unique image.

App is translated into Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Turkish and Simplified Chinese languages.
