Much like that friend who arrives late to the party and brings orange juice instead of a preferable beverage, Alcatel’s Idol 4 Pro has arrived rather late to the Windows 10 Mobile hardware party in Europe offering 2016 specs for Galaxy S8 prices.
Cyberport has the Idol 4 Pro listed for pre-order with shipments rolling out from the 6th of July. As you know, this is the exact same phone as the similarly named Idol 4S, featuring specs like a Snapdragon 820, a mediocre to good 21-megapixel camera, and of course Windows 10 Mobile with support for Continuum and VR content.
You can snag the Alcatel Idol Pro for 607 Euros if you’re desperate, but you really shouldn’t. The price has been reduced to nearly $200 in the USA, and no Windows phone is worth 600 Euro in 2017. Besides, purchasing it on eBay or some other retailer/market and importing it would be cheaper than shelling out at this asking price.
