Twitter is testing a new feature that will allow users to hide replies to their tweets. This feature was si=discovered by social media sleuth Jane Manchun Wong.

The primary use of this feature will probably be for users who attract a lot of spam or for comments which are being brigaded or even for users who share personal information to abuse other users. Twitter has been making moves to reduce harassment on its platform and while this hasn’t been officially announced yet, it can be assumed that this is being done as part of the same initiative.

The feature is only being tested in Canada at the moment so you’re going to either have to move or wait for Twitter to light it up worldwide.
