It’s no secret that a new James Bond game is now in the works. Hailed as Project 007 by IO Interactive, the maker of the stealth franchise Hitman, the game will be a “wholly original” Bond story & could potentially hit the release window in three years’ time.

According to a recent job vacancy though, it seems like IOI is looking to onboard more game engineers, designers, and programmers to the team — amidst recent layoffs in the gaming industry from big players like EA, Riot Games, Unity, and more.

These roles include AI programmer, cinematic artist, gameplay animator, lead game designer and programmer, senior combat designer and gameplay producer, technical designer, and senior/mid-cinematic animator in various locations across Europe.

“Featuring a wholly original Bond story, players will step into the shoes of the world’s favourite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story,” says the company in its opening.

Besides Project 007, IOI also hires talents for Project Fantasy, its brand-new online fantasy RPG, and Glacier.

Project 007 is an upcoming title. No release date or available platforms have been confirmed yet.
