Otterbox has made their rugged cases available for the Nokia Lumia 920.

The cases come in two models, the Commuter Series and the Defender Series.

The Commuter Series is a two layer silicon+polycarbonate  case for moderate protection that adds protection without bulk. The case sells for $34.95.

The Defender Series is a polycarbonate case with a built-in screen membrane with an outer silicone layer which provides heavy duty protection. The case comes with a holster that accommodate the device in any direction and costs $49.95.

Of course with the rather tough, torture tested device like the Nokia Lumia 920, with a polycarbonate shell with will not show small scratches and nicks, not to mention super-tough gorilla glass screen, one have to wonder if there is any point in making the device any bigger and bulkier.
