Despite being very quite most of the time, it seems HP does eventually get round to releasing the devices as promised. Unfortunately the devices don’t ever look as nice as their renderings, but I guess such as life.

In this case HP’s Windows Mobile Standard smartphone, the HP Silver has shown up. The device, which runs Windows Mobile Standard 6.1 is supposed to be pretty high specced, with HSDPA 7.2 Mb/sec, WIFI, GPS and 1100 mAh battery. It features a suretype-style QWERTY keyboard and was originally rumoured to be released on Vodafone.

Now with the HP Silver becoming real, hopefully the (nicely rendered) HP Oak wont be far behind
