A new contender has entered the ring for sending links from the desktop to your smartphone.

Browse to WP7 by Code6421 works similarly to Send to WP7, using a browser extension and their own servers to send links to your smartphone via push notification.  It however ads features such as being able to send the received links via SMS, Email, or just delete the links once received.

Received text snippets can also be forwarded by SMS and email, but can also be used for Google or Bing searches, which is certainly a useful feature.

The newest version of the app cost $.099 and ads a live tile, showing the number of links received.  While this may not appear instantly useful, the app also allow your  Facebook friends to send you links, which makes some kind of notification obviously important.
