Chinese site digi.it.sohu has intercepted some pictures posted by Dr. Luo Zhongsheng, ZTE head of smart devices, of their new Windows Phone 7 smartphone on the Chinese mocro-blogging Weibo network.
The pictures show the lock screen and also apparently the micro-blogging interface to Weibo, different from twitter, which is banned in China, suggesting this feature will be localized per region.
The handset shown has a white casing, different from the black one shown at WPC 11, suggesting the device will be available in different colours.
Dr. Luo Zhongsheng did not say much more, but he specifically mentioned the handset was running Mango, which had good Chinese support, and offered a better use experience than Android, something we of course knew already.
He also said the handset may be distributed outside of China also as ZTE continues their global expansion.
