ZTE has confirmed that its Windows Phone 8 devices will come only in later 2013. In an interview to The INQUIRER, Chris Edwards, European marketing and development director at ZTE told the following,
“Although we haven’t announced anything yet, I can confirm that ZTE’s first Windows Phone 8 handsets will be arriving towards middle-late 2013,”
He also revealed that ZTE will focus on cheap alternatives running Windows Phone 8 to products from “tier one” manufacturers. He also criticized Android OEMs about the complex UI they are shipping on their devices and revealed that a lot of consumers buy a product and use just 20 to 30 percent of its features.
