Japanese OEM Yamada Denki has just announced a new Windows 10 Mobile handset for their local market.
The Yamada Denki “Every Phone” features reasonable specs, with a 5.5 inch 720P screen, Snapdragon 410 Quadcore processor, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB storage with microSD card expansion, LTE support and a 13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front-facing camera with dual-LED rear flash.
The handset is 138.6 grams light and 154.8mm x 78.6 mm x 6.9mm, which would make it the thinnest Windows Phone released to date and the same thickness as the iPhone 6S. Despite this it still has a generous 2,600 mAh battery.
The handset will retail for ¥ 39,800 excl. tax (around $320) or 1791 yen over 24 months with a two year warranty. To sweeten the deal Yamada Denki is throwing in a 4600 yen worth of Bluetooth keyboard plus a screen protector worth 900 Yen for the first 3000 buyers.
Retail sales start on the Saturday the 28th November at LABI, Tecc Land, Best Denki, Tsukumo, Yamada mobile, Matsuyadenki Co., Ltd and also on Yamada’s website, with the device being marketed smartly as the ultimate business phone.
