Xperia X1 also has an accelerometer?

Hidden away in that leaked Orange spread sheet was a little gem of information about the most desirable phone in 2008 which was not known previously.

While the X1 beat the HTC Raphael in nearly every area, the Raphael had one hardware feature which the X1 was not known to have, an accelerometer.  This little piece of gadgetry allows for motion gestures, such as automatically flipping the screen when you turn the phone on its side, or muting the phone when you flip it over.

It seems this deficit has now been rectified, with the Orange spec sheet reporting that the X1 does indeed come with “motion sensor (with UI auto-rotate).

 Let the good times roll.
