Xolo was one of the first new Indian Windows Phone OEMs, and introduce the Xolo WIN Q900 in June this year.
The project must have been somewhat successful, as the company is back with a new Windows Phone device, the Xolo WIN Q1000.
The device, of which Xolo has already imported 10,000 units according to importation site Zauba, has a larger 5 inch screen with dual-SIM (vs the 4.7 inch HD screen of the WIN Q900) , which suggests to me that the specs may also have been upgraded. The handset may represent a refresh on that cookie cutter Windows Phone that all the small OEMs have been rebranding, which would be another indication of the project’s success.
Are our readers ready for a new wave of devices from the smaller OEMs?
Thanks Hitesh for the tip.
