Xiaomi unveils Mi MIX 2S, says it has better features than iPhone X for half the price

Xiaomi, today unveiled the new Mi Mix 2S just barely after launching Mi Mix 6 months back. The latest device comes with some great specs and is a decent upgrade over the older Mi Mix. The Mi Mix 2S will be available in China starting next week, with the rollout to Xiaomi’s other markets soon but won’t be making its way to the US anytime soon.

The Mi Mix 2S comes with a 5.99-inch 18:9 FullHD IPS display that covers the front of the device. On the bottom corner sits a 5MP f/2.0 selfie camera. Moving to the back is a pair of OIS-enabled 12MP cameras of which one is a f/1.8 aperture, while the other is a telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture.

Inside the hood sits the top of the line Snapdragon 845 chipset with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM. The device has a 3,400 mAh battery to power the device. The device will come in 64 GB, 128 GB, or 256 GB storage options. Mi Mix 2S will run on Android 8.0 with MIUI 9.5 on the top. Xiaomi has also added the support for Qi Wireless Charging and has launched a Wireless Charger for the same. However, the Wireless Charger will be an optional accessory and will cost $16. Unfortunately, Xiaomi has removed 3.5mm headphone jack from the device. Other specs include dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac.

We are comparing to iPhone X because people say it is the best phone. We just want to show we surpassed the best in many features.
