After gaming phones like Asus ROG Phone II and Razer Phone, Xiaomi is reportedly in the process of making a smartphone with a 120Hz display.

Folks over at XDA have managed to spot codes for refresh rate display settings in the latest Beta build of MIUI 11. Oddly enough, Xiaomi’s smartphone to offer only two options in the refresh rate display settings — 60Hz and 120Hz, that’s right, no 90Hz option!

Although not confirmed, it’s increasingly likely that Xiaomi’s smartphone with a 120Hz display will be a gaming smartphone.

Xiaomi is also planning to add some cool camera features in their future smartphones. Improved telephoto sensors with support for 5x zoom, an ultra-telephoto mode(will offer up to 50x digital zoom) are reportedly coming to future Xiaomi smartphones.

There is no information on whether or not all these features will be packed into one smartphone. Worse, there is no enough information to make an educated guess, so the best idea is to wait until the company makes an official announcement.
