Xiaomi is all set to unveil its Redmi K20 successor, Redmi K30 on December 10. Now, days before its launch event, the Chinese phone manufacturer took to Weibo to unveil some interesting pieces of information about its upcoming K30 smartphone.
According to Xiaomi’s Weibo account, the Redmi K30 will pack an impressive 4,500mAh battery, but what is even more interesting is the K30 will be able to make the battery go from 0 percent to 100 percent in an hour, thanks to the 30W fast charging technology.
If we talk about the competition, the Asus Zenfone 6 packs a massive 5,000mAh battery, and it’s likely that it will remain on top at least for this year when it comes to the battery backup. Nevertheless, since the K30 can make the battery go full-charge in an hour, there should not be a problem — the 35W fast-charging technology kind of obviates the fear of running out of battery.
Redmi K30 smartphone is expected to feature a 6.66-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi will also release a 5G variant of the Redmi K30 which is expected to cost more than the regular 4G variant. Otherwise, it will run MIUI 11 out of the box.
