Xiaomi today announced their successor to Mi Pad tablet. The Mi Pad 2 also comes in Windows 10 variant. It is thinner than its predecessor with a thickness of 6.95mm as compared to 8.5mm before. Weighing in at 322 grams, it is also 38 grams lighter than its predecessor which was 360 grams. a It comes with a 7.9-inch (2048×1536 pixels) IPS display with 326ppi and is powered by a 2.24GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8500 quad-core chipset and 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. It comes with 8-megapixel f/2.0 camera on the back and 5MP camera on the front. Xiaomi claims about 12 hours of battery life with its 6,190mAh battery.
The 16GB version of this tablet will cost $156 and 64GB will cost $203. It will be available in Dark Grey and Champagne Gold colors.
The Windows 10 version of this tablet will go on sale in December.
