Today is Touch Diamond envy edition.  The busy beavers over at XDA-Developers have been ripping the HTC Touch Diamond ROM apart and porting the best parts over the older devices. Laurentius has just released an updated ROM for the HTC Kaiser, based on selected parts of the Diamond ROM. L26_Kaiser_Diamond_V6 with a new Bluetooth stack is available here.

Continuing this trend, lepsyfou has released a phone dialer for QVGA devices inspired by the Touch Diamond. Find it here.

And finally an app unrelated to the Diamond.  SetVolume, an app that improved the style and ease of use of the volume slider, has been updated. Now rewritten in C++,it should be much faster. Get it here.
