iContact is a finger-friendly contact app that brings just a bit more style to Windows Mobile. Made to match the Slide2Unlock theme, it should well complement any Touch device.

Chome Weather 2.0 is a today screen plug-in for Windows Mobile Standard which provides a 10 day weather forecast. It is one of the few plug-ins that actually integrate into Microsoft’s Sliding Panels GUI. Its available in both portrait and landscape mode.

Only for the most hardcore geeky, Codeplex has developed PowerShell, a command line shell for Windows Mobile.  I know some people do not like the WM GUI, but this replacement is going a bit far!
Lastly, if you need a break from typing in cryptic commands on your smartphone, try Distant Galaxies, a classic shoot-em-up from the developer of Trackme, that features the ability to upload your score and compete against the rest of the world.  It looks brilliant, and appears to be all free.
