Microsoft showed off a bunch of the stock Windows 10 apps with Fluent Design at Build 2017. The company has already released some of those apps to Windows Insiders, and some of the apps are also available to the public at the moment. Today, Microsoft rolled out a new update to the Xbox (beta) app which brings a touch of Fluent Design to the app.
As you can see in the screenshot above, Microsoft has added the Acrylic material from Fluent Design to the main navigation section of the Xbox app. Apart from that, there aren’t any other Fluent Design elements on the app as of yet. We suspect Microsoft will add more Fluent Design elements to the app in the near future, including things like the Depth material and the sweet animations that are packed into Fluent Design.
In the meantime, if you use the Xbox app and want to try out the new Fluent Design improvements, you can get the beta version of the app below.
