Microsoft corporate vice president Kudo Tsunoda has been leading multiple Xbox development teams for a while now, and he is now moving to a different role at the company. Kudo Tsunoda is now the corporate vice president of Windows Apps Studio at Microsoft, where he will be focusing on applications for Microsoft products. Tsunoda will be focusing on improving human interaction methods on Microsoft’s applications and devices.
Microsoft’s Terry Myerson announced Kudo’s new role via an email to employees, and he also announced that Hanno Lemke and Shannon Loftis will be replacing Tsunoda’s leadership role. According to Terry, Lemke is now the general manager of Microsoft Studios Europe, where he will be working with Lionhead, Lift London, and other European studios. Shannon Loftis is now the general manager of Microsoft Studios Publishing, and she will be working with development teams of Quantum Break, ReCore, Scalebound and Crackdown 3.
The new changes are indeed quite interesting. It’ll be interesting to see if Microsoft announces any other major changes sometime soon, nonetheless, tell us what you think of the new changes in the comment section below.
