The Xbox Spring Sale begins on April 11th

The seasons are changing, and that means it’s time for a new Xbox sale – among some other obviously less important things. This announcement comes from Larry Hryb (better known as Major Nelson) who posted a trailer on Twitter. You can watch it below.

The Spring Sale will run from April 11th to the 17th, and over 350 titles will end up discounted. As usual you’ll be able to grab Xbox Live Gold for $1 if you don’t already have it, and you might want to – you’ll be able to save up to 10% more than regular members. Even if you don’t have Gold you’ll still be able to save up to 67% on certain games, though, so it isn’t necessary – you just might get a better deal on that game you’ve been eyeing for the past month or two.

Additionally, custom Xbox Design Lab controllers will be discounted by $15 during the sale. Various movies and apps will also be discounted, meaning that even regular Windows 10 users might be able to get something from this sale. Of course, Xbox Play Anywhere titles will get some discounts as well – including Halo Wars 2.

All in all, this seems like it’s going to be a solid sale. Microsoft’s seasonal Xbox sales have been getting better and better over the past year, and $15 off Design Lab controllers is an undeniably good deal.
