xboxsmartglassThe Xbox Smartglass app, which allows smartphone and tablet users to control many functions of their Xbox 360, has seen a minor update for their Windows Phone client.

Microsoft did not post a changelog for version 1.7.2.0, but the main change seems to be better support for 720P screens such as on the HTC 8X, which previously had a black bar at the top of the screen.

Be warned though that some users are complaining that after updating the app no longer works as it is supposed to.

The updated app can be found in the Windows Phone Store here.
