Xbox One S Assassin’s Creed Origins bundle to be available later this month

Get ready to jump into ancient Egypt with this new Xbox One S bundle announced today. Assassin’s Creed Origins is one of the few major third-party titles that Microsoft locked down with a marketing deal, so it should come as no surprise that the game is being bundled with Xbox’s console.

The bundle will be available on October 27, the same day as the game’s release. Players can choose from either a 500GB or 1TB bundle, with the latter also coming with Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, a title that’s becoming increasingly popular as of late. No matter which you purchase, both consoles include a 1-month Xbox Game Pass subscription and a 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial. It should also be noted that Assassin’s Creed Origins and Rainbow Six Siege will come as download codes and not physical copies.

The 1TB edition is up for preorder on Microsoft’s website for $349, and can be purchased through participating retailers like Amazon as well. If you choose the smaller hard drive, it’ll only set you back $279.

It’s a little surprising that an Xbox One X bundle was not announced seeing as Assassin’s Creed Origins is sure to be a technical showcase. When that system does launch, the enhanced version of Assassin’s Creed Origins will release as a free update to take advantage of its additional power.
