Coming off of a much needed win in the month of October, Microsoft’s Xbox One fell behind Sony’s PS4 for the month of November, Sony has recently confirmed. Both companies had massive price drops on it’s console for the holiday season, but Sony emerged the victor, a title Microsoft held for November 2014.

The week of black Friday saw both companies pricing it’s respective consoles at a mere $299, often times bundled with a free game or two. But despite its best effort, Microsoft still fell behind Sony , despite a year filled with backwards compatibility updates and NXOE. However it was reported that Xbox One actually had its best November ever in terms of sales,  so overall things don’t seem to be too bleak for Microsoft, and having extended the bundle pricing of the Xbox one for the month of December, the sales king title may still be up for grabs.
